Nepali movie ‘Jhola’ is made on the story in a novel by Krishna Dharabasi with the same title. The story is made in an ancient tradition of violence against women. Set in a old time, the movie gives a glimpse of the society of the past. Various charity shows of the movie were held in different parts of the country prior to the release of the movie in theater. The review of the viewers in the charity shows had been positive. But, because of the lack of glamour, success of the movie in theater cannot be guaranteed. The fact that the movie was released along with two other movies – ‘Mutu’ and ‘Mokshya‘ would mean that the viewers will be divided because of the competition.
